A show-stopping, floral embellished, couture shade

We crafted this one-of-a-kind lampshade with love, here in our Glasgow studio. It’s our nod to the amazing Dolce & Gabbana Alto Moda 2026 collection. Every single element has been custom created to achieve an utterly stunning silhouette. 

This is a multi-layered lampshade. We’ve custom dyed the dupioni silk in pastel green and green/blue ombre shades. Then we’ve added a second layer of gorgeous coordinating green chiffon and a beautiful floral embroidered tulle.

We’ve finished the chiffon panels with a dozen handcrafted satin roses. Created from gentle pinks, blues and greens the satin roses emulate the classic Dior rose.

To emphasise the scallop of the frame we’ve added a double layer of hand-painted, ombre rayon fringe. Lampshades should be extra right? So we’ve added bejeweled tassels. Made of Czech glass and rose quartz beads they catch the light beautifully. Finally a hand-painted gimp braid, colour matched to the gentle green base is applied to finish the piece.

By using these couture and artisan techniques we’re able to create a breathtaking lampshade that demands attention.

Measurements

The shade is 430mm in diameter and 350mm in height – including the 150mm fringe. 

Special Instructions

This handmade lampshade requires a shade carrier, we would recommend a 5 inch carrier to mount this shade onto your chosen base.

We recommend using this shade on a standard lamp or table lamp. To get that gentle glow, opt for a low lumen lightbulb.
