We run 53 Interiors from our home; the sewing workroom was once a gorgeous bedroom and the workshop a ramshackle garage.
Over the last 12 months we've done a lot of work creating the right spaces and amassing the right tools to be able to deliver on our vision - designing and creating sustainable and luxurious products for the home!

Working from home has a lot of advantages (e.g. I get to hang out with the princes' all day) but it does have it's draw backs, a) we don't have a space to meet, greet and chat to potential clients and b) we don't have a place to showcase our work.
We want to meet you at Market
The one thing I love about running my own business is being able to make decisions quickly and take immediate action. Once a challenge has been identified, we simply explore ways to overcome it and take action to test our solution.
So, to overcome the issue of not having a shopfront and showroom we've decided to pop up at local markets across Glasgow & Central Scotland to make your acquaintance, display our work and make some sales!

Testing Made to Order at Markets
As we're a small, home-based business and because we are committed to reducing waste and mitigating our impact on the environment we adopted a MADE TO ORDER model very early on. We're really keen to continue with this business model, not only because it reduces waste but because it allows us to offer clients far more options.
We don't know how this model will work in a market setting but we're going to test it over the next 3 to 6 months. We'll have samples of all of our work on display, as well as a 'look book' to give potential clients an opportunity to see more of our portfolio.
